J.J. HOPKINSON
J.J Hopkinson made beautiful and technically excellent pianos and this one dates from the end of 1910.
It has a Rosewood veneered case and a lovely silk finish. Its front panel displays a pretty harp motif, made from inlayed fruitwood veneers.
All sound structure, including the soundboard, bridges, wrestplank, strings and iron frame have been completely rebuilt. The mechanism has also been rebuilt using top quality German hammers and dampers.
The overall tone is very strong and powerful and is very capable in performing anything from Bach to Brahms.
